In recent years, Dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer and successfully battled into remission. He was a big supporter of the Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust Bladder Cancer Support Group. He attended meetings and the consultant always arranged for Dad to share his experiences about his treatment and how he cared for himself. Dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from Coronary Heart Disease. In light of this, we are fundraising for Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.
